The water-repellency of our Aqua-Dry Hats comes from the advanced Bionic-Finish® Eco DWR coating. This coating is biodegradable, fluorine-free, and safe for kids. In addition, the UPF50+ rating comes from the weave of the fabric. That means it won't ever wash off or fade away!
